BEYOND THE BLUE
Beyond the Blue is the only
Bonefishing charter company on South Caicos
and specializes in Airboat bonefishing making it possible to access flats
never before fished. Anglers speed across virtually dry sections of the
Caicos bank in 24' Airboats to absolutely gorgeous, hard bottomed flats
teaming with bonefish. Anglers can expect to encounter schools of
several hundred bonefish ranging from 3-6lbs to schools smaller in number
but with fish 7lbs and over. Larger fish are found in groups of two or
three.
Days start about 8am.
The beginning of the flat system is as little as a 5-10 minute boat
ride away. As you wade and catch fish, the guide keeps the boat up
within a short walk for the anglers. Lunch is served on the boat.
Return to the beach is about
4pm. Everyone fishes the
whole day, unlike with the traditional poled skiff where anglers share the
deck and only fish half the time. Maximum group size is 6 to allow
ample space on the boat. The South Caicos
flat system is huge so you are not competing for space as you wade.
