Five Rivers Lodge in Dillon, Montana is located in the heart of
Montana's Fertile Crescent of Fly-fishing. Rivers such as the Jefferson,
the Beaverhead, theMadison, the BIG HOLE and the Ruby are just a few of
the hallowed waters you will fish out of the lodge. Spring Creeks offer
another option where anglers stalk brown, rainbow, and even brook trout
in crystalline waters just minutes from the lodge's doorstep. This is
Montana angling at its finest. After your angling day is finished, you
will return to the lodge for dinner, wine, and stories with other
anglers from the lodge. Dinnertime stories oftentimes spill over onto
the deck following the meal where guests continue to swap stories,
favorite cocktail or cigar in hand, while relaxing in the shadow of the
Rattlesnake Mountain Range.
With some of the finest trout waters in the World located within less
than an hour from the lodge, Five Rivers offers a unique fly fishing
vacation complete with all meals, fishing guides, accommodations, and a

The Fishing
Brown, rainbow, and brook trout fishing ranging from wading in intimate
spring creeks to floating larger tailwaters.
Season
Early Spring-Baetis dry fly action and some nice brown and rainbow
fishing. Spring creeks will be "on fire". The stoneflies will begin and
mark some of the best fishing of the season on the Big Hole and Madison.
Late Spring/Early summer-Hatch time on all of the rivers means this is
the most popular time to be in the American West. PMD, Baetis, and
Stoneflies will keep the trout looking up.
Summer-Dry fly action is abundant and the hopper fishing is in full
swing
Early Fall-Stripping big streamers on the Beaverhead will get you into
some of the best brown trout of the year...BIG FISH!
