To all Fly
fishing enthusiasts,
After an
interesting year, we look forward to 2008.
With the tough local conditions due to the
drought and the store moving in August, we
at the Fish Hawk are ready for a, how do you
say, a great (and normal) year of fishing
locally and abroad. We hope you join us!
All of us
here at the shop hope you had a very happy
holiday season. For the new year, we want to
pose a challenge to you. Pick somewhere
you've never fished but wanted to and go
there. It could be a small, backwoods creek
in North Georgia that you've always wondered
about. Perhaps a trip to the Bahamas or
Mexico to chase bonefish and permit. Don't
let 2008 be a year of "I wish I would have".
Make it the year of "I'm glad I did".

The New Face of Fish
Hawk Travel
|
|
|
Ronnie
Hall
Ronnie has been a fixture in the
southern sporting arena for over four
decades. Ronnie has been a fishing guide
since the early 80's (he even worked in
the shop for awhile), being the first
guide to offer drift boat trips on the
Hiwassee River. He later owned and
operated a duck lodge in Arkansas, was a
fly fishing guide in Montana, and has
most recently been seen as the co-host
for the Versus Network show, "The
Huntley Way".
Ronnie now has taken on the new
challenge of running the travel
department for the shop. Ronnie will
replace James Buice (former Fish Hawk
Travel Dude) who will be leaving the
shop to work as the southeastern sales
representative for Scott Fly Rods,
Nautilus Reels, and other brands. We're
glad (and lucky) to have Ronnie on
board.

Our Travel Department under Ronnie is
expanding to include wingshooting as
well as angling destinations around the
globe with big game hunting soon to
follow. We are also able to book your
airfare and all transfers along with the
lodge, making us a true full service
sporting travel agent.
If you
are looking for a angling or shooting
sports vacation, we offer an array of
lodges and guides from the Bahamas to
Russia and beyond.
